What Shawl I Say...?
I can't help but appreciate the dainty stitch-work that goes into shawls of this type...
...but neither can I picture people wearing them as regular, honest-to-goodness clothes/accessories (outside of a fancy dress ball or a theatrical production).

First one was doing all right...then I got to the 'mile-a-minute' portion on the bottom and went "Oh. OH, now I see it. Yep, that's gross."
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right; the second one could definitely be on stage in a 1920's period piece. Way too much fringe to be practical in 2011.
