Flower Power x 3
Too-- much-- flower-- power!-- Can't-- take-- all-- the-- loopy flowers!
I mean, seriously.
The bag? ...Well, ok.
The hat? Only if you insist.
But what is that other thing-- the loopy flower garland that's draped all over her? A bizarre mish-mash of choker, suspenders, and scarf?

Don't Tread On Me
It's probably just me, but the pattern on this scarf and hat remind me of tire treads... with the result that it feels like this poor lady has tire tracks running up her body and over the top of her head...
Or, if you're part of the 99.9% of the population who looks at the photo and thinks, "Tire treads? I don't see it...", then how about this?:
Wow. Look at all that fringe on the sides of her scarf. And the hat, with the fringe on just the sides. It looks weird. Also: Why are there holes in scarf? Doesn't that kind of... I don't know, defeat the purpose? (Don't bring up the fact that many scarves are meant as fashion statements more than for warmth, please.)

Faceoff
I don't know what bothers me most...
The fringe along almost every edge of the scarf...
The hair made of fringe...
The fact that the model is doing her best to look like the face on her scarf (sunglasses, etc.)...
Or the fact that her scarf face is situated right at the crotch.
Just count me as displeased on multiple levels, ok?

Pooch Week: Scarf & Hat Set
Sure, it's cute, but won't s/he just be constantly tripping over the ends of scarf? And isn't this a little of a strangulation hazard? ...Or a choking hazard, if the dog is anything like mine are. (They'd be pulling at that thing before I could manage to get it on them.)

Oui, Monsieur!
Time's running out, so if you discover you still need a handmade gift for someone, a quick project-- like a scarf-- is ideal!
Here's one for the yes-man in your life:
...As if he needed reminding!

Ssssss
The macramé cobra-- just the thing to add a little interest to your home décor this season. Makes an elegant centerpiece for the fall table (particularly when placed smack-dab in front of an unwelcome dinner guest).
If cobras are a little too exotic for your taste, maybe you'll be more partial to this knitted rattlesnake scarf-- an attention-grabbing accessory if ever there was one!
Bonus: If you have disobedient children, plant the suggestion that Mr. Snaky doesn't like noisy kids (or nose-pickers, whiners, etc. as fits the occasion) and has been known to come to life and bite naughty boys and girls. Provides hours of amusement!

Polyp Barnacle Sea-Creature Fashion
It's been a while since my high school course of marine biology, so you'll have to bear with me here...
I can't quite place the name, but I know there's some sort of creature living on the ocean floor that simply must have been the inspiration for this unusual hat and scarf set:
Barnacle Beanie?
Coral Polyp Cap?
Eh, whatever.
The point is, yuck.
(I've convinced myself that even the chihuahua looks mildly embarrassed to be in the same photo with that hat.)
I'm kind of disappointed with whoever arranged this photo, though... Clearly, the thing to do here was to have the model's hair plaited into numerous small braids, then thread them through the openings in the hat so that they flopped every which way. Such a missed opportunity!
