Fantasy Fur Sleeves

I've been wondering how to use up that novelty yarn I bought on clearance (back before I realized what a nightmare it can be to work with).  Here's an example of how to mix "faux fur" yarn with more standard fare:

 I really like the way her hair is styled to match the sleeves. 

Fake Sleeves

Well, sure, they were faster to make than real sleeves would've been, but honestly, who do you think you're fooling?

Flying Squirrel Sheath

At least they had the decency to give her something substantial to wear underneath. . .

But oh my.  (And ick.) 

I think I'll pass on the flying squirrel-style flaps under the arms, thanks so much.
